When you join the waitlist: your email address, your first name if you give it, the school, college or university you choose, how you are connected to it, and the size you pick.

When you heart a piece, request a size, vote or answer a poll: what you chose, tied to a random device code stored in your browser. We do not ask for your name for these.

When you write a review: your rating, your words, your first name, and your campus and connection if you add them.

For every visit: the pages you view, the site that sent you, your country, and a code made from your IP address that changes every day. We never store your IP address itself.

To measure demand for each design and each campus, so we can show universities, colleges, schools and investors that the interest is real. We share totals and percentages, never your email address or name.

To email you about drops and news, only if you tick the box on the waitlist form. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

To keep the site free of spam and abuse.

Reviews are checked before they appear. A published review shows your first name, and your campus and connection if you added them.

We do not sell your information. It is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which processes it for us. We share only grouped, anonymous numbers with institutions and investors.

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to remove them or until we stop running UNIMERCH. Activity records are kept as long as they are useful for measuring demand.

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email unimerch.apparel@gmail.com from the address you signed up with.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
